I combine 28 years of experience as a national motivational speaker with my love and respect for animals and a fascination with how they respond to their experiences. It is both fun and personally gratifying to note how the quality of my life has been
enhanced by the lessons they have taught, and continue to teach, me. I travel in and out of the continental United States speaking for national, state and regional conventions, corporations and individual facilities, as well as keynote special events. I also facilitate leadership training for universities and the military. Publications include author/illustrator of several motivational books, including double-award winning “Down But Not Out–Living through your setbacks, major whacks, and broken-heart attacks.”Awards include the “EDIT IT” Book Award for Commitment To Achieving Precision In Communication, Mid-America Publisher’s Association Award for Illustrating, Outstanding Creative Woman of the Year and recipient of the National Mental Health Association’s Outstanding Service Award. As a sculptor, I found the smile-spot of my soul when I began creating my Best Friends Collection – small sculptures capturing those irresistible moments of joy when we allow ourselves to simply live in the moment and feel the unconditional love of our furry buddies.
