I wiggled happy on my way out the back door, ready to take on the day,DSCF2670 when I spotted a big squirrel sitting on our fence — watching me! I got so excited, I ran straight at him. He jumped to the ground and took off across the yard with me right behind him. I was going so fast I not only caught up with him but I was actually running right next to him! I have never been that close to a real squirrel before so I didn't know what to do except to keep on running — till he went up a tree. I made a sharp turn toward Poppa who was sitting on his swing. I jumped in his lap and leaned against him. He put his arm around me and said, “That squirrel won’t hurt you, Chloe.” As I scooted even closer to Poppa, I could feel my rear end get back its wiggle.
